Recognizing & Honoring Deserving Nurses

Michigan has many nurses whose outstanding and heroic contributions should be recognized and honored and ANA-Michigan has established eight different awards to recognize excellence in Michigan nursing.

The ANA-Michigan Nominations Committee has changed the award nominations process for 2024 and beyond. Nominations will now be accepted on a rolling basis. Award nominations received on or before March 31 will be considered for the year in which the awards are presented. Award nominations received on or after April 1 will be considered for the following year. Anyone selected to receive an award will be notified and invited to attend the ANA-Michigan Conference to receive their award in person. Details will be provided at the time of notification.

Please note the following if you are not selected to receive an ANA-Michigan Nurse Recognition Award:

  • If you are not selected to receive an award, you will be notified.
  • If you are not selected to receive an award, please note that your nomination form will NOT be held in the system to be reviewed again the following year.
  • If you are not selected to receive an award, please consider submitting for another award or revamping your nomination form before submitting it again.
  • All nomination forms will be reviewed based on the date they were received by the system and deadlines outlined above.
  • Incomplete nomination forms will not be considered by the Nominations Committee.
