ANA-Michigan 2026 Call for Committees Now Open!
We are excited to announce that the 2026 Call for Committees is now open through December 22, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for members to step into leadership roles and help shape the future of nursing in Michigan. Selected committee members will begin their terms early next year.
To explore the roles, responsibilities, term lengths, and attendance policies for each committee, please review the link below.
The Nominations Committee will review all submissions in January and provide their recommendations to the Board of Directors. Final committee appointments will be made at the Board’s January meeting.
This is your chance to make an impact, don’t miss out! Incomplete submissions will not be considered, so please ensure all required fields of the consent-to-serve form are complete before submitting.

Open Committee Positions
ANA-MI members interested in serving on the Advocacy or Nursing Practice Committees will hold a two-year term spanning January 2026 through December 2027.
ANA-MI members interested in serving on the Bylaws or Education Committees will hold a two-year term running from April 2026 through April 2028.

Engagement/Attendance Policy
The Board of Directors takes committee engagement very seriously and values the input of every member serving on a committee. To that end, attendance is monitored regularly to ensure that all committee members are making their best effort to attend all committee meetings. Please be aware that two consecutive unexcused absences from committee meetings shall constitute an automatic resignation, per the ANA-MI Bylaws.
